Overview
As a Back-end Developer at Nerds & Company you are the hero of our clients and end users. Our clients are grateful for the cool features you make for them and your colleagues are happy to work along your side. As a team you work on a great variety of projects and challenges. Our scrum teams consist of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Front-end Developers and Back-end Developers. A good setting to let your creativity flow and getting things done.
What we ask from you
With your team you will be working with tooling or languages like: Ruby on Rails, Docker, PostgreSQL and TypeScript with Vue or Angular and Git. Choosing to work at Nerds & Company is choosing to become a part of a experienced and innovative development team. At the moment we are researching and working with Elixir, Phoenix, TypeScript.

- Experience applying unit tests and end-to-end tests

- Experience with developing scalable apps
Pre’s
- Experience with functional programming e.g. Erlang, Haskell or Scala
- Experience with Angular and or Vue
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and Redis
- Experience with Heroku Cloud Hosting and the 12-factor app principle
- Experience with Elixir
