Your Role
As ourHR ManagerNetherlands, youllbethedrivingforcebehind all HR operationsacrossourDutchretailstores, International HQ in Hilversum, and HQ Netherlands + Distribution Center in Almere. Youlllead a dedicated HR team and reportdirectlytoour Head of HR, playing a keyrole in bothdailyoperations and long-term peoplestrategyfor The Netherlands.Youarepartofthe Global HR Managmentteam and togetherweareresponsibleforalignmentacrosstheregions and for HR strategyatHunkemöller.By developing anoutstandingemployeejourneyweenrichthecustomerexperience.
Your team:
You will have a team of 11 experts, ranging from HR Advisors (including Employability), to Junior HR Advisors, HR Assistants, and (Jr.) Health & Safety Officers.
What Youll Do
Lead & Inspire: Guide, coach, and develop your HR team across all Dutch locations.
Be a Trusted Partner: Collaborate with Retail leadership and senior stakeholdersin the office to drive performance and engagement.
Own the People Agenda: Deliver impactful projects in talent, performance, and organizational development.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee daily HR operations and support your team in delivering high-quality service.You are constantly on the lookout to improve ways of working. You don’t shy away from building business cases for investments that make everyones life easier.
Champion Compliance & Safety: Work closely with Health & Safety and ensure alignment with Dutch labor law and Works Council processes.
Use Data to Drive Action: Leverage HR metrics and systems (like Workday) to inform decisions and improve employee experience.
Shape Culture: Be a culture ambassador, fostering inclusion and contributing to our global people strategy.
What You Bring
5+ years of HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment (retail or service industry preferred).
Proven ability to lead teams and influence at all levels.
Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and Works Council processes.
A hands-on, proactive mindset with a strategic outlook.
Eye for detail, result & improvement driven, pre-love for digitalization.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Experience with HR systems (Workday is a plus).
Availability for 3240 hours per week.
