Who We Are:
HK International specializes in the supply of dredging equipment and solutions.
To support our expansion in Almere, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in heavy industrial technical challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop dredge pumps and related dredging equipment.
· 3D models and production drawings for complex assemblies using SolidWorks.
· Conduct hand calculations to validate designs and ensure mechanical integrity.
What We Require:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer within heavy industrial environment.
- Proven, hands-on experience with SolidWorks 3D-2D, including managing complex assemblies.
- Work with PDM system
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of dredging processes, production techniques (especially casting and machining), is highly preferred.
- The one-way commute time is within 20 minutes by car.

· Professional proficiency in Dutch or English (both written and verbal).
