What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day electrical assembly operations on-site, ensuring all systems are built to spec and on schedule
- Interpret wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and technical drawings with precision
- Build, route, and install harnesses, power distribution systems, connectors, and sensors in UAV platforms
- Ensure quality at every stage – perform inspections, tests, and troubleshoot issues on the spot
- Develop and maintain assembly procedures and work instructions for repeatability and clarity
- Coordinate with production, mechanical, and avionics teams to ensure seamless integration
- Train and mentor electrical assembly technicians – raise the bar, push for excellence
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve design feedback and implement improvements from the shop floor
- Own safety and compliance in electrical operations – zero shortcuts, zero compromises
What You’ll Need
Must-Have
- MBO level 4 diploma in a relevant technical discipline, with a focus on engineering or manufacturing.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
- Solid hands-on experience in electrical assembly or integration in aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar high-tech industries
- Strong knowledge of wire harnessing, crimping, soldering, routing, grounding, and electrical testing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Experience leading or supervising small technical teams on the shop floor
- Comfort working with tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting instruments
- Familiarity with ESD procedures and safety standards in electrical builds
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English – Dutch is a plus
