Are you passionate about driving excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing through impactful training? We’re looking for an Operational Excellence Trainer to join our team in Sittard-Geleen, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the knowledge, compliance, and performance of our Manufacturing, Production Support, and Quality Control teams.
About the Role
As an Operational Excellence Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering onboarding, refresher, and for-cause training programs that support GMP compliance and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all personnel are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely, effectively, and in line with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured training programs for Manufacturing, Production Support, and QC staff
- Coordinate and lead mock runs, unit operation training, and equipment-specific sessions
- Monitor training plan adherence and report bottlenecks or gaps to leadership
- Support aseptic technique training and promote best practices in cleanroom behavior
- Maintain training documentation and ensure alignment with the latest SOPs and batch records
- Act as a GMP role model and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training to contractors and visitors entering GMP areas
Your Profile
- Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field
- Solid experience with training and mentoring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about knowledge transfer and operational excellence
