At WFS PRO BV, we offer a challenging and exciting career opportunity in our maritime division, Damen Naval. As a Naval Cad Engineer, you will be part of a team with over 1,000 professionals and a rich tradition in shipbuilding dating back over 150 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, diagrams, and arrangements to visualize technical designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Support the creation of graphical representations, including 3D modeling and prototyping, to visualize Damen Naval projects for customers.
• Identify spatial needs and allocate functions within the arrangement of Damen Naval ships.
• Perform trade-offs for the optimum arrangement of elements onboard.
• Contribute to the ideal architecture of Damen Naval designs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production departments to ensure a smooth transition of designs into subsequent phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Naval Engineering, or a related field, combined with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in preparing drawings and diagrams within shipbuilding and visualizing ideas through hand sketches/drawing.
• Expertise and experience in various design concepts and practices, including hands-on coordination of the design process.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Rhino.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal.
• Excellent references and a permanent EU citizenship and passport are required.
