Introduction

Function
As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, managing and monitoring schedules for Allseas’ capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and cost controllers to ensure a perfect match between deadlines, resources and budgets.
Your duties include:
- Develop and maintain project and resource schedules for CAPEX and R&M projects;
- Coordinate input from various departments and subcontractors;
- Preparation of reports (S-curves, progress reports, forecasts and scenario analyses);
- Support cost control activities and apply Earned Value Management;
- Contribute to process improvement within project and resource planning.
In short: you ensure that Allseas’ complex technical projects run smoothly and predictably.

Who are you
You are an analytically strong and structured professional who likes to keep an overview of technical projects. You work independently, but also know how to cooperate well within multidisciplinary teams. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:
- HBO or WO degree in mechanical, civil or maritime engineering;
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a planner within a project-based (preferably offshore or maritime) environment;
- Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project;
- Experience with network planning, resource planning and Earned Value reporting;
- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written;
- Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
