Join our international, multidisciplinary team at
Thales Nederland working on the design of new products and for
managing software and hardware development.
About
the job:
As product owner, your primary
responsibility is to oversee the development of complex software
models by the MINT sub-team. This model is delivered to our
customers to diagnose our complex systems, ensuring maintenance is
simple and preferably predictable, and enabling remote assistance
if necessary. This will
involve:
- Co-lead a scrum team and
support the team to work efficiently and
effectively. - Use your experience to prioritize
between needs from multiple projects and align these with the
long-term development goals. - Assess if there
are enough skilled people in the team to be able to meet the
demands and prepare for the next challenges
ahead - On a longer term, you will be asked to
provide consultancy and (technical) support to the other specialty
engineering sub-teams

Creative and proactive,
excellent stakeholder management skills -
Communicate effectively and with
strong skills (listening, asking the right questions and expressing
yourself in an open, professional way) -
Proven experience in product
ownership (or equivalent) at least 5 years or more recent
experience in the role of product owner -
Hands-on experience with JIRA (scrum
/ Kanban) -
Result oriented
with a high sense of responsibility and accountability -
You like to work as and with a team,
able to convince, inspire, coach and support other team
members -
You are able to
understand your technical clients and application owners’
needs -
Fluency in spoken
and written English and Dutch -
Candidate needs to live in the Netherlands or
nearby -
Candidate needs to
work at the office in Hengelo for at least 3 days a week, Wednesday
is obligated -
