Are you a developer who not only thinks in terms of systems, but also in terms of solutions? Do you have a good knowledge of C-sharp/.NET, SQL Server and experience in financial services? Then we would like to hear your story.
On behalf of the Value Stream Service Assets at our client’s Asset Management, we are looking for a senior backend Developer. In this role, As a Developer, you are a specialist in finding solutions. Your focus will especially be on the accounting platform. You think in terms of opportunities and are service-minded. Taking ownership and accepting responsibility comes naturally to you; you have a pragmatic attitude and are motivated to deliver quality. You have a willingness to develop or enhance your t-shaped skills.
What to do:
- Analyzing business needs that have already been defined in relation to systems and processes, and developing and implementing feasible solutions to satisfy these needs;
- Contributing to the (further) development of solutions;
- Advise on solution direction/choices and drive them to a decision;
- Challenge & validate application designs;
- Design and develop infrastructure and software systems
- Producing financial and management reports;
- Integration of the accounting system in relation with other systems;
- Supporting system, integration, end user testing and deployments;
- Interact with both team as well as end users – front office, back office, IT;
- Supporting our first- and second-line support in the event of complex disruptions and issues;
- Share & transfer knowledge to the team members.
Set of requirements:
As a Developer, you are a specialist in analyzing business needs that have already been defined in relation to systems and processes, and developing and implementing feasible solutions to satisfy these needs. You think in terms of solutions and are service-minded. Also:
- At least a higher professional degree in IT or software engineering;
- 5+ years of professional work experience in a software engineering role;
- At least 5 years of demonstrated work experience in software development and the knowledge areas C-sharp/.NET, SQL server;
- Knowledge & experience in Accounting is a plus;
- Knowledge of Geneva, RSL, RDL is a plus;
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures;
- Strong consulting skills;
- Experience with Agile working;
- Must be self-motivated, well organized, team player;
- Highly developed communication skills in English (at least C1 level).
