We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team in Delft.

As a Project Manager, you will work on the definition and execution of projects for the realization of complex hardware. Together with your team, you strive to make the impossible possible.

Responsibilities

• You manage multi-disciplinary teams of specialists and systems engineers, mainly in the area of optics, precision mechanics, control engineering and MAIT.
• You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• You will build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
• You will work closely with business developers on the acquisition of new projects.

Requirements

• You have an master’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics or similar.
• You have at least 15 years experience working with high tech systems, and at least, 10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• You have experience in building hardware for customers.
• You have experience writing proposals.
• You are customer and result-oriented.
• You are structured but pragmatic, you can adapt your management style to the situation, and you are able to operate in an R&D environment and deal with the uncertainties that it brings.
• You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
