Service Engineer – EMEA – EV Charging Infrastructure
Delft, The Netherlands
Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in the office
Salary Up To €60 000 (including 13th month and holiday allowance) + Standard Dutch Benefits
Permanent contract (12-month FTC then transferred to permanent, regular Dutch contract model)
5V Tech is partnering with a global innovator in EV charging infrastructure as they establish their presence in the Netherlands and build the foundational team that will lead service excellence across the EMEA region.
We’re looking for a Service Engineer to join this fast-growing team and play a hands-on, customer-facing role in delivering outstanding technical support for commercial EV charging systems. You’ll work closely with the EMEA Service Manager and local partners, making a direct impact on service quality and customer satisfaction across the region.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the early team in the Netherlands, helping to establish and scale a world-class service offering in the EV charging sector.
What you’ll do:
• Provide technical service support to customers and service partners across assigned EMEA countries
• Act as the first line of escalation for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and issue resolution
• Manage and track warranty claims using internal service tools and platforms
• Conduct on-site visits to support installations, repairs, or complex troubleshooting
• Document service activities, technical issues, and solutions with precision
• Track and report service performance metrics to the EMEA Service Manager
• Assist in training customers and internal teams on the maintenance and repair of commercial EV chargers
• Ensure all service work meets company standards and complies with safety and industry regulations
What you bring:
• Proven experience in a technical field service, support, or engineering role
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, ideally within EV infrastructure (AC preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AD or DC charging systems, EV charging technologies, or battery systems
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with service management tools and diagnostic software
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support
